# Retrieve an external tax calculator

To [fetch](https://docs.commercelayer.io/core/fetching-resources) a single external tax calculator, send a `GET` request to the `/api/external_tax_calculators/:id` endpoint, where `id` is the ID of the resource that you want to retrieve.
